‘Cats stay with Shattuck through three, cream Forgan

The Boise city Wildcats in their inaguaral year of 8-man football.

Shattuck, last year's state champions are legendary for eliminating their competition before the half; the Wildcats stayed in the game until the third quarter.

On offense, Albert Hernandez carried 14 time for 81 yards.

Felix Reyes, 10 carries for 23 yards.

Justin Clark connected with three passes in nine attempts for 34 yards.

Shattuck wore down the ‘Cats by using their 30 players to out platoon the 16-man Wildcat squad.

 

 

Last Friday night, the Wildcats traveled to Forgan, and came away with their first win, 40-6.

Reyes had 13 carries for 84 yards.

Hernandez, 26 for 223

Clark ran 16 times for 144 yards, and connected with two passes in four attempts for 28 yards.

The ‘Cats had total yardage of 479.

On Defense, Zac Wiggins had 10 tackles

Reyes, 10.

Logan Brakhage 9.

Coach David Bruner picked QB Justin Clark, and RB Albert Hernandez as his offensive standouts for the first two games. Hernandez has carried the ball 40 times for 305 yards, in two games.

On defense, Bruner picked Zac Wiggins and Felix Reyes, as standouts.
