B.C. Elementary Library hosts “The Kingdom of Reading, Aug. 31-Sept 13 The Boise City Elementary Library Media Center will host a Scholastic Book Fair on Aug. 31- Sept. 13 from 8:20 a.m. to 4 p.m., to purchase books for our Media Center. Families, teachers and the community are invited to attend the fair which will feature a medieval theme: Enter The Kingdom of Reading-Where Books Rule! On Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., the book fair featured a special community event in the cafeteria, with the Boise City High School Junior Class. The James Brothers furnished a delicious BBQ supper, there were lots of books and a drawing. The book fair will offer specially priced books and educational products, including new titles, award-winning books, children's classics, interactive software, books for adults and current best sellers. More than 150 publishers will have titles for sale. Attendees to the fair can help build our school's classroom libraries by purchasing books for teachers through the Classroom Wish List.
