Local dies in late night motorcycle accident by C.F. David Richard Loyd, 54, of Boise City died in a motorcycle accident 13 miles south of Boise City on Highway 385. According to a spokesperson for The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Loyd, 54 died when his northbound 2004 Harley-Davidson left the east side of the roadway and came to rest in a field. The accident was investigated by Trooper Boyd Perry, with assistance from the Cimarron county Sheriff's Office. Loyd was declared dead at the scene, from head trauma; he was not wearing a helmet.
