Tranquility on par three, #7 This metal sculpture at the seventh hole of the Cimarron County Golf Course honors David Crabtree and Richard Loyd. Crabtree, (Aug. 5-1956-Oct. 15-1997) and Loyd, (Jan. 11, 1951-Aug. 9, 2005), were instrumental in the formation of the club. Crabtree and Loyd, along with another founder, Joe Randolph who died after the Crabtree-Loyd Tournament was planned, will be honored this weekend. Tee times will be 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on July 22-23. There is a 48-team limit, at a fee of $150 with a 80 percent payback. The tournament, a three-person scramble; will feature prizes of $100 for each hole, (closest to the pin, etc.). Also up for the grabs will be a big screen T.V. on the #2 hole, and a choice of $35,000 or a new pickup on #7. On Saturday a name will be drawn for an opportunity to drive for a possible prize of $250,000. The T.V., truck/money and $250,00 will be for holes-in-one, and are sponsored by the AIM Agency.
