County offices are flooded by C.F. David Offices in the Cimarron county court House were flooded after sewage lines were obstructed on the weekend of May 4. According to Cimarron County Sheriff Keith Borth apparently one of the inmates in the county jail flushed a towel that later blocked a sewage line and caused the backup into several of the offices. Borth had no dollar estimate of any damage done. The Sheriff, who admits he cannot prove who commited the act, reports that all of the inmates lost several privileges because of the incident.
