Cowboy Rick Hamby is driving a stage along the Santa Fe Trail

Stage coach arrives Saturday

A refurbished Butterfield stage coach, being driven along the Santa Fe Trail, will arrive in Boise City on Saturday. It will remain in the area as the driver and crew camp out at the Heritage Center. County schools will visit the stage, and Hamby, on Monday.

The stage trip follows a successful trip from West Plains, Mo. to Tombstone, Ariz. in 2001.

This trip began in Dodge City, Kan., on May 1 and will conclude in Clayton, N.M. on May 14.

Hamby and his support team encourage anyone interested in the stage to come to the Heritage Center and visit and look as they are camped on the grounds.

Hamby does a weekly radio show on Hot Country KDY 102.5 FM at 9 a.m. each Saturday morning.

The show may be picked up around the world at
