Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson kicked off his bid for re-election in Cimarron county on Tuesday. He plans to hit each of the states 77 counties.
Edmondson plans to continue with the Carroll Fisher criminal case. Fisher, the former Insurance Commissioner has been sentenced for bribery, Edmondson wants the individual(s) who did the bribing.
“We also have ongoing litigation with the Arkansas poultry companies on the pollution of Oklahoma rivers. Hopefully we can solve that with negotiations.”
Methamphetamine production is also high on his list.
“It's still a problem, production is down in Oklahoma , but we have more coming in from Mexico . But I need to know from the county sheriffs if something else has taken its place,” Edmondson said.
