Mizer, Prather earn Girl Scout's highest achievment, Gold Award
Two Cimarron County Girl Scouts have earned the Girl Scouts highest achievement, the Gold Award.
Kassidy Mizer, is the daughter of Kim and Billy Mizer of Boise City. She has been a Girl Scout for 13 years and has received numerous honors Including selection as a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, Senior Class President; November Rotary Student of the month, 2004 Football Sweetheart; and the Girl Scouts Silver Award.
For her Gold Award project, Kassidy conducted a fundamental basketball program for 34 children from grades one through four.
Jillian Prather, the daughter of Melissa and David Prather has been a Girl Scout for 13 years.
She is a member of the National and Oklahoma Honor Societies, the Distinguished Student's Regents Scholarship from OSU was Rotary Student of the Month for September and is Miss Cimarron County.
She was former HOBY ambassador and Rural and was a Telephone delegate.
Jillian repaired a building donated to the museum to hold donated antique washing machines. .
