Beer sting lands two in trouble

A combined law enforcment sting with cooperation from state, county and city officers, caught two Boise City women in its web on Friday night.

According to information from the Cimarron County Courthouse, Stacy Lynn Wade, while working at Loaf-n-Jug, sold a non-intoxicating beverage, (3.2 beer), to an underage confidential informant.

On the same evening, Monica Christine Gonzalez, sold beer to the same individual in the Love’s store.

This crime is punishable by a fine of not more than $200, and/or a six-month sentence in the Cimarron County jail plus court costs.

Witnesses for the state include OHP Trooper Duane Johnson, Cimarron county Deputy Derek Kincannon and Boise City Police Officer Tonya Hicks.
