Percifield Receives Certificate

Bill Percifield, Cimarron County Commissioner, District #3, receives his certificate for completing the County Commissioner's Advanced Certification program from Dexter Payne, President of the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma (ACCO). Percifield completed the County Commissioner's Advanced Certification program conducted by the County Officers Training Program at Oklahoma State University. This voluntary training program was instituted by (ACCO) in 2001 and is a joint program between the Center for Local Government Technology and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. Participants must complete five courses chosen from a list of eight. Each course varies from one to two days in length. Courses include: Supervisory Skills I, Supervisory Skills II, Fundamentals of Administration, Hiring and Firing, Open Meeting Laws/Meeting Procedures, Cash Flow Management, Basic Mapping, Public's Right to Know (Title 51 Records).
