Donations Sought by Library Board
The Soutar Memorial Library Board is asking for help from friends and supporters in the community. Money is needed to help the library stay open. All county funding has been cut. Board members anticipate that there is sufficient funds to keep the library open part-time until the end of June, 2005. The library is widely used by students and adults. The computers are always busy! We need the county's support to keep the library open, and the library's only option is to ask for donations from the public. The Friends of the Library organization has IRS standing as a non-profit 501(C)(3), and all donations are tax-deductible. Your donation should be made out to “Friends of Soutar Memorial Library” and can be sent to P.O. Box 1088, Boise City, OK 73933. Current Soutar Memorial Library board members are: Bette Hanes, Keyes, President; Rozelle Nall, Boise City, Treasurer; Frankie Armstrong, Boise City, Secretary and Phyllis Randolph, Boise City. We currently need a board member from the western part of Cimarron County. The librarian is Nina Hinderliter. Boise City News |
