Cimarron Nursing Home Aviary Needs Funds
by Nancy Roberts
The birds continue to thrive in the Cimarron Nursing Home aviary. Their songs and antics are very entertaining for the residents and staff alike. The seasonal decor in the aviary is attractive and calls attention to the fourteen birds who reside there.
At this point, the aviary has been in place for eleven months. However, funds that were donated previously to support the aviary have now been exhausted. A private individual paid for the fourth quarter cleaning of the aviary, which is $299 every three months. The monthly payment on the aviary is $120, and the last two payments were also made by a private individual. The total amount still owed is $1,199.
Donations to the aviary can be made in memory of or in honor of family members or other persons. A card showing the donation was made will be sent to the honoree or to other specified persons. Anyone wishing to make a donation can mail it or take it to Nancy Roberts, administrator of Cimarron Nursing Home. The donations should be clearly marked for the aviary .
Thank you for considering the nursing home and aviary when end of the year giving is being planned. The aviary has definitely contributed to the quality of life of the residents and staff at Cimarron Nursing Home.
