Gary McCune, owner of Camco Home Improvement, Inc. of Stillwater which specializes in exterior renovations such as vinyl siding, replacement windows, seamless guttering, sunrooms and fireplace equipment was recently named Oklahoma's Remodeler of the year at the Oklahoma State Homebuilders annual convention held at Lake Texoma this summer. McCune was named for his contributions to his community, the state organization and his profession.
“It is indeed an honor to be recognized by your peers for the activities a person participates in during ones life. This award certainly has special meanings to me this year and I am truly thankful,” said McCune.
When Gary McCune established Camco, it set the precedent for hometown service. It did so by offering top-of -the-line, quality products and by providing professional service people could count on. These incredible products and services can be found today at your local Camco store. Since 1974, Camco has served north central Oklahoma and currently employs 12 people. They have recently moved to their newly constructed offices and warehouse at 4120 E. 19th in Stillwater. Although the location has changed, the phone, people and services that everyone has come to expect remain the same.
It is an excellent time to install seamless guttering on your house. These aluminum gutters are available in 30 different colors and are formed to fit any length.
Camco can also tie your gutters into your drains to help eliminate maintenance problems this fall.
Another big product carried by Camco is vinyl siding by Alcoa and Royal. This siding won't crack, chip, peel, split or fade and is very easy to clean. Siding jobs can take as little as two weeks.
“We do a lot of sunrooms in the fall so people can bring plants and pets into a relaxing indoor environment,” said McCune. “Sunrooms give you additional living space for about half the cost of conventional construction.” They are also adaptable to any structure, whether it is residential or commercial.
Camco offers replacement windows to cut down on drafts from brands like Chelsea and Trustguard that can be customized to your specific needs. They are both backed by lifetime warranties.
Camco employees take care of all the installation and service work for their products, and each of Camco's employees are continuously trained, certified and insured. “Our customer base is highly reliant upon referrals,” said McCune. “The service we give our customers tends to be the most important aspect of our business.”
