Arrests clear two burglaries

The arrests of two Boise City men on Wednesday, cleared two local burlaries.
Jesus Manuel Loya, Jr., and Miguel Hernandez, were arrested for the Nov. 13 burglary of the Lamesa Restaurant, and the Nov. 14 burglary of Bourk's Gun and Pawn.
Loya, 19, is charged with two counts of burglary, one count of breaking and entering, and is being held on a bond of $10,000.
Hernandez, 20, is charged with two counts of burglary, and also being held on a bond of $10, 000.
The restaurant burglary resulted in cash being stolen, and the pawnshop burglary had merchandise stolen.
Boise City Police Chief Dale Harper refused to put a dollar amount on the cash and merchandise taken.
“I followed some leads and I got lucky,” Harper said.
