Detailing the Issues

The time has finally come, after months of lies, slander character assassination, and military service being demonized, it's time to vote. Next Tuesday is a very important time to let our voice be heard, not only nationally but also locally.
I remember when I was in my twenties, I didn't care about politics at all, I figured, let the old folks take care of all that junk, it doesn't affect me. Wow was I wrong. Our policital system is by far the best in the world, but when young folks and many other groups stay home that puts the reigns of the country in the hands of a radical “minority”. Don't believe me? Look at the United States Congress, tell me how do so many of these out of the main stream radicals get elected? It's because voters don't pay attention to politics. Now look what we've got.
Many say this generation is so entertained we only pay attention for a few minutes at a time. It must be true, how else could John Kerry be so close to George Bush in the polls? It seems many just watch the political ads and base their decisions on that, instead of thirty years of left wing liberalism as displayed by Kerry. Come on pay attention.
At least Kerry somewhat shows his liberal colors, while some democrats in Oklahoma disguise themselves as a republican to get votes. What a joke!!
Tuesday: Come participate in one of our greatest freedoms (voting) before it get's taken away or taxed.
