This was our last meet for the junior high and our last tune-up before Regionals for the high school. The junior high was first, starting at 8:00 sharp and is usual for some of the larger Texas meets, boys and girls ran together. There were no school divisions, small schools ran with large. Still Boise City boys and girls ran extremely well, with both Tiffany and Eunice running their best times of the year. Victor finished up a great year with a good finish in a very tough field. Justin ran tough with an injured knee to finish up his year. All four of my junior high runners did awesome jobs this year and I want to wish them luck in the other sports they are in this year.

On the High school level our girls were next. Denisse ran her second fastest time of the year and Amber knocked 2:11 off her time to run her fastest time. The boys were last and Uriel and Destry ran their third and second fastest times respectfully. These two are my veterans and they are far more consistent time-wise this year, which shows great improvement. Brock finished up for us in only his 5 th 5K race, and is showing real guts hanging in there for us.

The high school travels to Chisholm , OK this Saturday for Regionals, so if you see them, wish them luck!
